Signed from Peterhead during the summer of 2011 on the recommendation of both Neale and Neil Cooper, Stuart has been Formartine's Mr. Consistency and has set a club appearance record since stepping up to the senior ranks. Stuart's consistency and achievements were rewarded with an Aberdeenshire Cup Winners Medal as well as club honours with Player's Player; Supporters Player and Committee's Player of the year accolades.
Stuart brings strength the left side of defence as he quietly and efficiently goes about his duties. Having started his career at Aberdeen, Stuart permanently signed for Peterhead in January 2009 following two loan spells from the Dons, establishing himself as the first-choice left back during his time at Balmoor, but has also provided cover in the centre of defence.
